All Fernham villagers, their families, children and any visitors are welcome to come and sing some Christmas Carols on Elmside Green at 6 pm on Saturday 2 December. This is a WHOLE COMMUNITY EVENT and we do hope everyone in Fernham will feel very welcome to come along and join with their neighbours to share some Christmas cheer.
Meet at the Gazebo on the Green at 6 pm, mulled wine and mince pies will be available in to all (do feel free to bring some along too). We will be singing some of the ‘old favourite’ carols and taking your requests too. Tom Arnold will be accompanying our singing on his accordion and after a rousing chorus singing around the Elmside residents (and others houses by request) we will end at The Woodman Inn for a warming pint (or two!).
Our collection will go to support Helen and Douglas House Children’s Hospice, Oxford, and the Police Dependants’ Trust, in special memory of PC Keith Palmer GC.
We may combine this event with the Elmside Christmas Lights switch on, so watch this space!
